Eminent writer Maitreyi Pushpa received the IFFCO Sahitya Samman 2025 for her contributions to Hindi literature. The Close Quarter Battle Carbine is a compact firearm developed under the Indigenous Design, Development and Manufacturing initiative. It was designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment in Pune, a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation.
