Denmark has officially ended traditional mail delivery after 401 years due to a 90 percent decline in mail volume since the year 2000. The state-owned postal service, PostNord, will now focus entirely on e-commerce logistics and parcel delivery. Citizens requiring physical letter services must use private delivery kiosks located in local shops.
